Whats been going on

This week has been crazy. The sad part is, it's not even Wednesday.

Yesterday, I ended up coming home from school sick. 

Around 10:00am I became violently ill. 

When I say that, I mean running out of my classroom with a trashcan sick. 

Twice. 

It was not pleasant. 

My 5th graders are going to Biztown on Thursday. Biztown is a place that is pretty much set up like a little city. Each class has different companies. Every student has a different job. It is fun for the kids, but there is a ton to teach before we go. Since I was home sick all yesterday. Today was all biztown. No joke. We didn't even do math.

The kids love biztown lessons. I hate them. It is just so noisy. Since they work in companies, they have to talk and put things together. 32 students just makes things noisy. Our last assignment today was to make our radio advertisements. It was 40 minutes of students talking, but they came out so funny. 

It was a long day, so I skipped the gym. Sue me. 

I'm just prepping for another day of Biztown.
