#Sorryimnotsorry

Well. It has been forever. 
I can't say that I'm sorry. Life just kinda took over and I lost the whole purpose of keeping up with my blog. Which is a little sad because blogging is a great way to remember events that happen during life. Well that being said, I'm not even going to try to catch up.

That would just be c.r.a.z.y. I'll just do some updates! 

I'm going to go from the top--left to right.

1. Baby Maci was born! This little doll joined my sister's family. I love being an aunt to my nephews and nieces! It is the best.

2. Memorial Day. Here in Texas we had a few "weather" days. Therefore--we worked on Memorial Day. I had like 7 students. We ended the day with a Tornado warning and had to take cover. 

It was awesome. {insert sarcasm} 

3. Dan and I celebrated 2 years of marriage and decided to buy a SECTIONAL! Yay!

4. Last day of school #SELFIE! I loved loved loved my class this year! I will say that teaching is hard in general, but teaching in Texas is a GAME CHANGER. My most challenging year by far, also my most successful. 

5. Dan and I went to an Astro's Game on a work night:) P.A.R.T.Y! This was wild of us. Usually we are in bed at 9. 

6. I taught summer school #woof. It was actually not too bad--10 days--reteaching 5th graders around the district who needed to pass the Texas State Assessment. 

7. Maddie {my baby sister} turned 11. WHAT?!! 

She has the attitude of a 16 year old and loves Katy Perry. 

8-9. Kelsey {my bff} decided she wanted to come to Texas for the 4th of July. 

She booked her ticket Wednesday night and she left Utah Thursday afternoon. 

With a missed connection, she was in Texas at 4:30 Friday morning. 

It was the happiest I've ever been at 4:30 in the morning!
