{2 Months}

Wow! I cannot believe two months has already come and gone! The poor girl got shots today and doesn't want me to put her down {she is currently sleeping next to me and she usually wants to be in her crib during nap time}.The last month has been SO much easier than the first one. Looking back, I don't know how I even survived the first 3 weeks! Kate was very fussy her first month of life. Pretty much if she wasn't eating or sleeping, she was crying. Month two, she only really cries if she's hungry, tired, or wants to be put down. Dan and I just love her to pieces. The other night, we put her to bed, and then kept watching a video of her when she was smiling for like 20 minutes. We miss her when she's sleeping!

Here's an overview of the month:
Length-22 1/2 inches (48%)
Weight- 9.1lbs (4%) tiny little peanut

Sleeps 7-9 hours at night
Sleeps in her OWN room in her CRIB!
Wearing newborn clothes still
Moved up to Size 1 diapers
Has a love/hate relationship with being swaddled--she hates the moment
I swaddle her, but sleeps SO good when she is swaddled nice and tight.
Started smiling & she giggled today! (5/7/15)
Still loving bath time
Her Binky {just started taking one this month}
Laying on the floor-- she loves to kick and move around
Her bouncy chair
Still loves to watch her mobile while laying in her crib
Cuddling with her dad before he goes to work in the morning
EATING--don't let her get hungry!
Hates getting dressed
Hates getting out of the bath
Still doesn't enjoy her car seat, but is getting slightly better in the car
Loves being held by her mommy
Loves listening to soft lullaby music

Here are a few pictures from the month--I have hundred more:)

  1. Oh my goodness, she is sooooo tiny! And I can't get over her hair! She is suuuch a beautiful baby. And amen to the second month being easier than the first... I look back at the first couple of weeks and I'm like, how did I ever survive, especially once my mom left?!

  2. She is teensy! What a precious little pumpkin though! That last picture, she just looks so sweet and peaceful. Glad some of the chaos is starting to wind down (and hopefully you're getting some real sleep again)!
