Hidden Gems

Okay. 

So we live in Utah and it's not where we want to be f.o.r.e.v.e.r

but my oh my some days this state SURPRISES me. 

There are days when I'm driving and the mountains are just beautiful.

 BUT let's get to the point of this post...

When Dan's parent's were in town, we wanted something "fun" to do outside

{since the weather was to die for} 

and we discovered that the

Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival 

was going one for one more weekend.

So off we went--Meghan, Jon, & Kingston {my sister's family} and

Josie, Brad, & Baby Emree {pretty much my 3rd sister and her family} 

joined us as well.

YA'LL. I'm not joking. It was beautiful AND 15 minutes from our house.

I might have even asked Dan that if we ever left Utah, if I could come back every year to see the tulips.

It was THAT pretty. 

So what I learned:

Utah doesn't just have the best "snow"

{its more dreadful than anything else}

it also has the best tulips.
