How We Became {Texans} again...

If you read in the "about me" section

you would know that our 5 year goal was to move back to Texas. 

Well it happened. 

5 years early and really quickly. 

May 23rd, Dan flew down to Texas for 2 interviews. Within the week, he was offered positions with each company he had interviews with. We weighed the pros and cons of each job. He accepted a position with Ryland Homes, working in their land development department. He loves his job and is doing exactly what he wants to be doing at this point in his career.

Okay. I just wrote an entire novel and decided it was way too wordy. Lets go with bullet points for the rest:

• Dan's working in Texas
• Ally's working in Utah
• Apart for 2 weeks:(
• Ally does ALL the packing {I to the day quiver when I think of boxes and tape}
• Spent our first wedding anniversary apart {more on this later}
• Ally's first year of teaching comes to an end {bittersweet}
• Ally has Skype Interview for a 5th grade Teaching Position in Texas
• Skype Interviews are very weird.
• Ally gets offered the 5th grade teaching position the VERY NEXT DAY!!
• Dan flew back to Utah.
• Dan and Ally drive to Texas.

So that about concludes it. 

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with myself now that I'm not busy teaching. 

The humidity is great for my skin and hair, but yikes it is h.o.t 

{I start sweating the minute I step outside}. 

And so far, I haven't seen one roach. 

Me and Texas are off to a pretty good start. 

I of course miss Utah. Well...let me clarify. I don't actually miss the state of Utah. 

I miss people that live in the Utah. 

Now maybe, just maybe...I'll blog more with my free time. It is always a possibility.
